Health Practitioners, Facilitators & Group Leaders

We’re creating a space where people can revive the forgotten essential that make us human: connection.

If your work is about helping people connect with self, each other, nature, creativity, health, or spirituality, this could be a place for you.

This is your opportunity to be part of it. To shape it. To realise it. And to create a legacy of change, together.

"I believe that retreat experiences are some of the most transformational that we can deliver to our students. And there's a real demand from our community. But without a purpose-built facility here in South Australia we're forced to travel interstate and overseas. And this means there is added cost, complexity and carbon, while we have some of the most stunning nature right here on our doorstep on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

My hope is that this new facility becomes a shared home for South Australian facilitators and their communities."

Snapshot for Facilitators

There is an unmet need for high quality and purpose-built spaces for group retreats in South Australia. The current lack of availability puts health, arts and community education practitioners at a disadvantage for what we can offer our communities. We want to change that.

Deep dive retreats, workshops and experiences are in demand across Australia. Offerings like these can create growth, connection and resilience within your community. And a pathway for your own growth as a facilitator and a business.

We’re looking to engage with high quality facilitators of all walks and diverse offerings. And that this place becomes more than a venue for hire, but a place your community calls home.

We are building this project with you and your future community at the centre of it. The Human.Kind business is leading the effort but will not own this facility. It will be a neutral space that everyone can call home.

So help us make sure we get this right from the start by taking this 3 minute survey to tell us who you are and what you need.

Myponga Beach, South Australia

Just 60mins drive south of Adelaide CBD and airport, Myponga Beach is the ideal location for your retreat or workshop weekend.

Imagine rolling hills, sweeping ocean views, on-site walking trails, native vegetation and produce gardens.

It’s already the ideal setting for your workshop or event.

Accomodation

We’re designing to accomodate up to 35 people  across various formats of single rooms (10), twin rooms (3), bunk rooms (2) and deluxe rooms (4).

We expect minimum viable retreat sizes will be 20 people. So it does assume a certain size gathering, recognising that smaller venues already exist in South Australia.

Facilities

Your workshop and trainings will be showcased in a spacious studio with big ocean views. And can take advantage of the flexible outdoor spaces.

The onsite kitchen and catering will be plant-based and delicious, featuring locally sourced produce.

A particular highlight for your guests will be a lap pool, sauna and optional massage/treatment rooms.

Pricing

We are looking to balance everyone’s needs in this project. A big part of that is ensuring that the venue is financially accessible, for you and your community.

How you want to use the space has a big impact. So please take our short survey to help us know your needs.
